Simona Šarotar Žižek (born 01/02/1973 in Murska Sobota) completed undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), the University of Maribor, where she master’s degree in 2000 and Ph.D. in 2012 in the field of human resource management. She is employed as an assistant at University of Maribor on Faculty of Economics and Business, Maribor, Slovenia. She is also intensively involved in project work (project leader Chanche4Change at the EPF, a member of the research project "Sufficiently comprehensive model for measuring the welfare of employees in organizations transition by comparing the innovative and less innovative" and in targeted research project "The modern model of human resource management in the field of tourism"). She has published 13 original scientific papers, 44 scientific papers for conferences, two independent composition of the international scientific monographs and three separate papers in professional monographs.
